Community Stories at Southwestern University
Submitted by mariasv on Tue, 07/29/2014 - 23:23Community Stories at Southwestern University took place in the fall of 2014. After inviting project founders Maria Cotera and Linda Garcia-Merchant to lecture, and attending a training by digital archivist Maria Seiferle-Valencia, Brenda Sendejo undertook her own version of community stories. Her students recorded and edited oral histories, scanned archives, and adapted the guidelines to meet the unique needs of this undergraduate class.
