Pillowcase painting

This pillowcase was illustrated by Lola de la Riva, who loves pillows. She was taking a Japanese watercolor class and made this for Osa as a gift. Lola made this around the turn of the Millennium in the year 2000, for Osa as it is reminiscent of the animal she identifies with and relationship with the forest and mountains, as a long-time Santa Cruz resident.
